On fluevog.com there’s a section labeled Fluemarket – where you can buy, sell or swap used vogs. It’s a great concept since Fluevog shoes are timeless. And if you ever tire of your vogs, you want to make sure they go to a good home. Part of my collection since 2008, the now discontinued “Inge” boot from the Fluevog Soprano line is the perfect boot. A comfortable, versatile boot with a little vintage flair. Soft black leather, mid calf boot with rounded toe, rubber sole and 3″ stacked heel. A cool detail is the wrap around leather strap complete with grommets and ribbon ties, lets you create the perfect bow. Make a stylish entrance and exit!

The thing about Fluevog’s….they last. These “Belleview Libby Smith’s” are circa 2010 and the only thing that’s changed for 2013 is the color combinations. Miu Miu is doing a similar style this season as well. The vintage and color block fashion trend continues. Soft, dusty grey toned leather unites with a muted olive creating a faux-spat effect – accented by small, decorative navy leather buttons. This zipped calf-high boot sports a low 2.5″ spool heel. This style is a hidden gem.

The ever adorable and incredibly sassy – John Fluevog‘s “Mini Zaza” – an inspired spat with an attitude. A cream leather wide strap with contrasting stitching and three cute buttons perches atop the upper of the casual black leather mary jane pump. What makes this shoe stand out in the crowd is the classic Mini heel – a unique 3″ hourglass heel. These shoes were my very first introduction to John Fluevog 5 years ago, yet they are still surprisingly stylish and very comfortable. Just today someone complimented me on these and asked me which brand they were. If you haven’t tried Fluevog’s, prepare to fall in love. If you have, I bet you didn’t stop with just one pair.

Someone stopped me on the street today and asked me where I got these shoes. Another day, another Fluevog! These kilted kicks, an open toe crisscross sandal in a soft taupe-grey leather, are adorned and edged with brass metal brads. There’s a push pin closure along the ankle strap and signature on the back heel. Contrasting light wood 3″ cone shaped heel and cork 1″ platform. Unique, playful, comfortable, stylish … and the neutral shade goes with everything. Did you get asked about your shoes today? Maybe it’s time for a new pair!

Another day, another Fluevog! The “Birgit” from John Fluevog. A fun, funky, charming and posh sandal from the Soprano line. Black leather gladiator-esque sandal with 3″ contrasting wood heel. Large brass grommets allow the thick ribbon to interlace – finished off with a looped bow. So comfortable, you’ll forget you’re wearing them. Guaranteed to get a few glances if not downright stares. This sandal will have you singing the praises of Fluevog!

John Fluevog‘s “Ashbury” – an open toe black leather oxford shoe with a 60’s bohemian vibe. The asymmetrical lace up detail is what makes this a notable shoe. An extremely comfortable 3.5″ stacked wooden heel and platform make these a dream to walk in, adding to the whimsical coolness that is Fluevog.

Today is International Fluevog Day – so get your Vog’s on! In honor of the special day, I chose to wear my lilac suede Munster’s.
