I love tall suede boots. Stuart Weitzman’s 5050 boots have the same cult-following and star-studded followers as the Berkin bag. Sadly, as much as I love the look of over-the-knee boots, I just can’t pull it off. Instead of looking classy, on me, it looks trashy. The over-the-knee style is all the rage right now. It isn’t easy to find a boot that meets my criteria: high heel, black suede, round toe and below the knee. Since Stuart Weitzman makes seriously comfortable shoes and boots, I inquired with them first and discovered they made the exact boot I was looking for … in 2013. So the hunt was on. Fortunately, I found the boot at Saks Off 5th and as an added bonus, they were on sale! The “Give it Up” boot is everything I could ask for and more. The boot is classy. The profile provides a solid line, making my legs look a mile long. The suede is rich and elegant and even covers the 4.25″ heel. There’s a 1″ platform, so the boots are ridiculously comfortable. The pull on style fits snug, like a glove. It’s a sexy, tailored look. I’m all for style trends, but wear what you feel comfortable in and feel confident in. The right shoe can change your life.
