While hunting for the perfect boot, I came across a 40% off one day sale! Rag and Bone‘s “Kinsey” boot has a vintage yet modern, kick-ass look. Rag and Bone styles typically run a half size small, however, this particular style runs a full size small. Once you find the right fit, they are like slippers for your feet. This style has an asymmetrical split shaft – as if they were inspired and took style tips from Alexander Wang – it is that cool! This boot will transition easily from one season to the next = year round kicks! R&B’s trademark smooth, leather straps with side stitch wraps around the front and crisscrosses at the heel, and it sports the classic round cap toe. The 3.5″ heel is a perfect height. This boot can be worn with, well… everything. I may have found the perfect casual boot!

Got these on sale from Ssense.com. They were held up in customs, weathered through a polar vortex, misplaced by the USPS and then finally 3 weeks later, after several inquiries and trips to the post office … my lost shoes were found and delivered! Rag and Bone’s “Newbury”, a distressed ankle boot that adds an edgy touch and pairs well with dresses, jeans and leggings. Rounded toe, back zip and 3.75″ stacked, bleached heel adds a nice contrast to the dark worn upper. A boot that can only get better looking over time.
