Vacationed to Monterey, California to take in the 2013 Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach this year. I thought the event was going to be all about the incredible cars but surprisingly, it turned out to be equally about fashion accessories. Likened to the Kentucky Derby – it’s all about hats … and footwear of course! Anyone who has ever been to an outdoor party knows there are certain shoes you do not wear on the lawn, like stilettos, unless you want to sink into the grass and ruin your kicks. Yet surprisingly, high heels were in full force. The shoes that really stood out for me were the red loafers that Italian specialty auto-maker, Horaco Pagani wore – a true class act.
