A rugged mule, this Vera Wang Lavender Label caught my eye in 2009. It’s aptly named “Daisy” and it sure is sweet! An over-sized ring is harnessed at the sides creating a great profile for an edgy, moto-inspired look. Double crisscrossing buckle straps wrap around the substantially chunky 4.25″ wooden heel with hidden platform – not something you typically see on a mule. These mules are meant to be worn. And I’ve worn them so often they’ve been resoled and polished to look as good as the day I bought them. I believe there are three very important services a woman needs – 1) A good tailor to make sure your clothes fit. You can buy less expensive brands, but if the tailoring is right, you’ll look like a million bucks. 2) A good hair stylist. If you’ve ever had botched highlights, color or haircut…enough said – you always want to look your best and you should, and 3) A good cobbler. Your shoes can truly last forever. Find a good cobbler and take care of your footwear accessory investment so you can always put your best foot forward.

Vintage inspiration + contemporary details + one funky heel = Oh…Deer!‘s “Coffee” pump. A two-toned fashion forward heel – sexy cognac colored leather with black patent details on the t-strap and ankle strap. But it’s the 3.75″ striped heel that will make them stop and take notice. Oh deer indeed, this is one fabulous shoe.

Elizabeth & James “Lang” leather and canvas lace up sandal. Dark brown croc-embossed leather open toe pump with a 4.5″ stiletto heel connects to a natural-hued canvas upper with front laces and a slingback. The neutral color works from spring well into fall. It’s a crazy combination, yet it works, adding the right amount of texture for an edgy, captivating style.
