Monday’s are mod…with the “Dante” pump from Via Spiga. I’ve had these flats (I can’t call them a pump with such a low heel) for about 5 years. Still fashionable, it’s a modern twist on a 60’s vibe. And the two-tone look continues to rock the runways. Black patent leather upper, contrasting white 2″ block heel, a mirror-finished buckle accents the squared off toe while thick, contrasting white leather straps add to the adornment. It was Fall 2010, the shoe was featured in Glamour, InStyle, and various weekly magazines. The company had backorders from preorders. I waited a over a month for the shoe. Was it worth it? Yes! Nina’s “Yaneli” high wedge, open toe calf hair, leopard print bootie. The shoe is similar in nature to Alexander Wang’s “Alla” leopard peep toe wedge, but it was $550 less! So why break the bank? Leopard and fur is fashionable for this season and with a heel height of 4″ and no platform, this bootie not only enhances your look, it’s also a breeze to walk in. So bring out that exotic print you’ve been storing and take a walk on the wild side.

Rockin the playful polka dots! The ever adorable and incredibly sassy – John Fluevog‘s “Mini Zaza” – an inspired spat with an attitude. A cream leather wide strap with contrasting stitching and three cute buttons perches atop the upper of the casual black leather mary jane pump. What makes this shoe stand out in the crowd is the classic Mini heel – a unique 3″ hourglass heel. These shoes were my very first introduction to John Fluevog 5 years ago, yet they are still surprisingly stylish and very comfortable. Just today someone complimented me on these and asked me which brand they were. If you haven’t tried Fluevog’s, prepare to fall in love. If you have, I bet you didn’t stop with just one pair.
