A uniquely styled, two-tone leather cutout sandal in a richly toned neutral palette. The “Llona” from Leifdottir‘s spring 2012 collection is well designed with just the right mix of vintage inspiration, color block and modern design. Subtle yet versatile with a beautifully sculpted 4″ architectural heel, drop arch and 1″ platform.

These shoes take my breath away. They are absolute eye candy….much like the “king of stiletto” designer himself, Brian Atwood – who in person is truly an Adonis.

The “Genre”, an open toe ankle boot from Charles by Charles David is an artistic endeavor of modern style. A comfortable and stylish peep toe allows you show off that pedicure. Braided leather boldly details the front – adding interest, dimension and a rock-and-roll vibe. Sleek 3.5″ wedge heel cradles your foot and there’s even a back zipper allowing for easy on/off access. Go on, walk in style.

Not one to follow any trends, Chie Mihara mixes classic and contemporary styles, designing shoes with comfort and quality in mind. Her 2013 Spring-Summer collection was based on freshness and renewal with geometrical lines inspired by the 60’s. I think this is one her best collections. The “Cocco” white sandal is uniquely crafted, flaunting a striking skeletal texture, contrasted with smooth black leather trim…adding enough graphic interest while still emphasizing the D’orsay styled lines. A 4.75″ chunky heel has a well padded insole and hidden platform. Chie Mihara shoes are trendless and timeless and a bit of an investment…but seriously, aren’t your feet worth it?

An über cute and highly fashionable gladiator sandal/cut out bootie. Part of my shoe closet since 2010, the Coach “Teagan”. That’s right, Coach. Sure they make handbags and leather accessories but they’ve actually been designing shoes for a while – and they definitely raised the bar with these. The perfect shade of grey … shimmering brushed leather with chic signature C emblems on leather tassel ties. Stacked wooden light grey 4 3/4″ heel and 1/2″ platform. Year after year, I get compliments on these and its no wonder, they are stunning.

First came the ankle bootie, followed by the oxford bootie and then the peep toe bootie. From spring 2008, the Linea Paolo “Brennan” oxford pump-bootie tried to combine all the trends into one look and somehow it worked. Peep toe with open side cutouts and a daintily perforated punched out pattern. Pinked trim completes the menswear inspired lace-up oxford, providing the spectacular spectator look. Constructed from two-tone leather, in both smooth and patent finishes is what makes this shoe a show stopper. Patent leather heel is 3 3/4″ high with a 1/2″ platform. Adding just enough polished flair to your business casual summer style.

Another day, another Fluevog! The “Birgit” from John Fluevog. A fun, funky, charming and posh sandal from the Soprano line. Black leather gladiator-esque sandal with 3″ contrasting wood heel. Large brass grommets allow the thick ribbon to interlace – finished off with a looped bow. So comfortable, you’ll forget you’re wearing them. Guaranteed to get a few glances if not downright stares. This sandal will have you singing the praises of Fluevog!
